memo to the editor of the Wairarapa Times Age...

Could not believe my eyes when I read todays paper.
The editorial page or what used to be the editorial page is called opinion now, was completely filled with right wing tory bullshine and assertions one step short of outright lies.
I was in the library and actually went and shelled out for my own copy later so I could read it at home.
The piece that caught my attention was an editorial [?] by one Mike Hoksing.
I dont believe for a minute that hoksing wrote this.
Do you send him the cheque or does it go to Mathew Hooton?
Hoksing is just not clever to write a diatribe of misinformation, nationals party propaganda and gobbledygook of this calibre.
The Wairarapa has always been more blue than red but to keep publishing this crap is a stain on your newspaper and if you dont bother to read it before it gets published then it is a stain on you and your professionlism also.

the price of freedom is eternal vigilance...

have just been deleted from Fiends Of Strategic Air Command on fbk.
the people administering this site are partisan and thinskinned.
They assume that if you believe in freedom then you must be a republican.
not so.
and also accused of not having any skin in the game.
not so either.
These people are typical one eyed parochial nit wits who have never read a history book in their lives and are so self centred that they think only their views count.

wellbeing and how to do it...

wangled an invite to a little do at the NZLP caucus retreat.
all I did was deliver pamphlets and do the straight talk to the unbelievers.

Let me say it was a very nice feeling to be with people who believe in what they are doing and committed to carrying it out.
The world is divided roughly 50/50 between people psychologically disposed to give or take and it i sobvious that NZLP people are prepared to give and to share and do not see the world as a "mark" for them to grab as much as they can.
This government has a gifted leader in Jacinda Adern who does lead and knows what needs doing.
She is secure enough in herself not to be in the world to grab and consume without hindrance but to do as much good as possible.
It gladdened my heart to see the team in the flesh and to feel the warmth and empathy.

two items in todays Wairarapa Times Age made me laugh and cry.

One david cormack going on about cannabis and repeating the hoary old chestnut that cannabis causes psychosis.
not true.
psychosis originates in the first two years of life and is caused by trauma and isolation from the parent of the same sex.
and witnessing the parents in the sexual act before the infant has obtained language acquisition.
if cormack ever took the trip into the demi-monde he would know that psychotics that use cannabis do so because it gives them the illusion that they can control their sickness and it is not the other way around.
the only countries that have major cannabis problems are those who have outlawed it and then turned it into a cash cow for their insatiable justice industries.

Dame Margaret Bazley organising yet another mini star chamber, invites only, to find ways of creating more economic growth in the Wairarapa.
I dont care who the mayors in the Wairarapa are but when it comes to economic growth they are amateurs.
I talked to JOhn Booth one day and he said make an appointment and go and see him which I did but he never got back.
His secretary is like Bazely.
Both of them think I am stupid because I have long hair, dont kiss arse and will not be talked down to.
But I do have a university degree {a real one!} in economic and business history and it truly grieves me to see these incompetents floundering around and trying to make changes when they have not a frigging clue about what they are doing.
