hemp...

To improve our only planet, farmers should be allowed to grow hemp:
- Hemp grows quickly and is harvestable in six months.
- One acre of hemp produces 25 % more oxygen than one acre of forest, ensuring a cellulose supply of about twice as much.
- Paper production from hemp could save millions of acres of forest every year.
- Hemp can be used to used as a biofuel.
- Wood made from the stems are 20% stronger than oak.
- The carbon sequestration is 15 tonnes per hectare.
- Hemp fabric is more durable than cotton.
And...
Hemp is easy to grow without poisons or heavy fertilization. Some farmers say that it grows like a weed.
