merry christmas from Carter Court, Carterton, New Zealand...
the sneak is back!
Saturday morning on his throbber.
The management of Carter Court is seriously out of wack.
they dont know how to do what is right and would rather indulge in a petty squabble just to prove that they dont have to listen to anyone but themselves.
They are like petulant children.
and to make it quite clear it is not conwells job.
he is retired and he has a contract.
now it is up to the board of Carter Court to set the terms of the contract and not allow any unilateral decision making by a contractor.
If they cant do that then they need to be replaced themselves.

Christmas in Carterton...
Very quiet this year.
Went to the dinner on Christmas day and it was horrible.
More volunteers than attendees and now it has become an event!
Too many cooks.
Some event.
A whole gang of fat well oiled people looking down their noses at the lonely and the needy and waiting round for the people to go so they can hog in in private.
The roast veges were hard and so were the peas.
The cream on the pudding was sour and no vanilla.
Who called the cook a bastard?
Who called the bastard a cook?
People were leaving before it even started.
The “mirrors” wife couldn't even say hello.
They called him the mirror because when he was on the council he used to say, “I'll look into it”.
Hahahahahahahahaha.
Now Its wake up in the morning to the lovely scent of insecticide.
Next door to me is Carter Court (“just like home”) which is a residential rest home.
The staff have become sclerotic and resistant to change.
Inisde the place smells like shit.
They cant open the windows because of the swarms of blowflies.
When your aged parent soils themselves I am sure you have a proper disposal plan in place.
Here they just wrap it up and put it in wheely bins out the back.
Out of sight.
Out of mind.
So they have created this closed feedback loop that is extremely unhealthy.
You cant tell them though.
They know everything.
They have lived in Carterton al ltheir lives and there is nothing they dont know that isn't important.
If it was then they would know it.
Unfortunately with a town that is resistant to change and insular then some of these bucolic rustics begin to think they are it.
