Must confess. watched 52pick-up again last night.

Three cheers for Lucy Lawless and the Greenpeace gang. They stick it to them. I dont know if it ever does much good in the short term but consciouness raising is important.

Been looking for Queen Elizabeth Park on the wiki. feeble stuff there.

Queen Elizabeth Park Masterton is home to some of the most beautiful trees in the world.
when I was a boy it was full of mystery and and the park lake was filled to the brim and you could get lost there.
They used to have catch the greasy pig competitions there on Friday nights and athletics and grass bike racing.
now its crummy restaurants where the better people go to watch the peasants sporting  and noisy fairground rides.
the thing is the Masterton District Council is still living off the capital from the people who founded the park and planted it out in the first place coming up for two centureis ago.
now its a toy for inane councillors who want to leave their mark and think they know best.
When was the last time a tree was planted in the park?
answer that.
time to write to your Councillors and start asking for more trees instead of plastic gew gaws.
Write to the Queen too.
Tell her how the ninnies have used her name and squandered the inheritance.
she would love to hear from you.
Tell her we need more trees and NO more asphalt and plastic.
there is enough there already.

Hello kiddies.

nuthin much to report today.

Scored the flashback dvd from the sale rack at the video store but it really wasnt all that funyyy. if ya know what I mean and you probably dont.

Thats ok.

However It did bring up a few memories so I got out the Jefferson Airplane cd's out of the box and gave thema spin just for the hell of it. Still stirring stuff but as the world closes in and all strains of uncomformity except radical politics are ironed out of the consmer system then no longer much relevance.

I love that incredible string band lp too but they were JDUBS  so on the outer too.

Doesn't matter how good the mmusic is if they are not acceptable then thats that.

Its all so long ago that nobody cares any more anyway.

The house and car and mortgage and job are ALL that matters.

Had to laugh at the old curmudgeon calling paul holmes intelligent.

he just quick thats all and totally aligned with the consuming system.

THEY love him but he is no more intelligent than anyone else. Just average and stupid to boot.
