Hi KIddies
Went to town this morning. Did some busking. Keep the old pipes going. Ramblin' Rose a big hit and I am going to try and learn the old(?) rod stewart number gasoline alley. very infectious song. you can whistle it all day!!!!!Went past the Strawberry girl and gave her the last line of the song and she returned with loveliest smile I have seen for a long time.
Strawberry Fields Forever.
Had coffee with my big sis. the nice young thing at food for thought is going off to Otago. (most people leave) hohohohoho. come on the highlanders.
I went to VUW as an adult student. I was most chagrined when the some of the lecturers kept saying that everything in New Zealand was done on the cheap. After a while and looking around and talking to people I began to realise that they were right.
The CTV building is a case in point.
Great to look at but a heap of shit.
you know. like a mudguard. all shiny on top but all shit underneath.
just as well sideshow BOb is away in China or there would be calls for his head. And dont forget the PIke River MIne. What a bloody shambles from start to finish. The whole gang should be pilloried for gross stupidity.
Anyway the thing is you are not allowed to criticise in New Zealand or you become a knocker and ostracised for speaking your mind and /or speaking the truth.
New Zealand is run by standovers and bullies.
listen to the cricket commentaries. there is nothing scintillating or amusing or entertaining. its all bullies telling us what they think and the continual use of interrogatives to stop people answering back or worst of all making up their own minds.
sorry guys but its true.
anyway apart from aeroplanes whcih come with built in safety standards everything else is supplied by the lowest bidder.
just look at all the ugly pavers in our cities.
just downright ugly but some bigmouth wil inevitably tel you otherwise.
Radio Live is in the gun.
The pm is not in the firing line but he got in a cheap shot by saying who would listen to Phill Goff anyway.
Thats just nasty but he appeals to that cheap nasty side of the new zealand character so you get what you voted for.
Johnny boy you should not let that bit show.
dig?
so must be just about tiem for a new National Banjo Pickers Convention.
lets have it here!
and dont forget 'Radio Arrow FM'.
Tonight is blues night and the 60's nostalgia show. Dave Sinden spins the platters for your enjoyment and puts on a rocking good show.
