Greatest Guitarist of the 20th Century...
Jimi Hendrix.
my favourite player is Mike Bloomfield closely followed by the bunch
Keith.
Freddy King.
Eric.
Duane.
all them.
But listen to Jimis 45's for a a palette of colour and music that exceeds everything else both in invention, virtuoso playing and sheer panache.
For an untutored man to come up with so much wonderful music is nothing short of a miracle.

burning of the midnight lamp...
spoke to very nice young german girl this morning.
she said as far as she knew that he was ok and the plane was at fault and all the rest was a newspaper story.
hmmmmm.
no.
somebody hould have got to lubitz much faster.
allowing him to be called names is the sign of an infantile culture and a lack of discipline at the core.
at the same time it should have alerted someone.
Is there no one at German Wing with a roving commission?
has efficiency and profit removed such necessary people from this organisation?
which leads me to the Wairarapa.
No one here has what it takes either..
The whole place needs re-engineering and thats not civil with dams attached.
New Zealand is a small country and the people are smaller.
they want formulas and instant reward.
they believe in the process without having any idea about the performance.
they dont know how to plan or even how we got where we are now.
all they can see is their own immediate needs and how to ride to the top of their own very small peer group.
There is no one around in town and it is no good just trying to brush it off with murmurs about the season.
If you want the place to happen or at least bestir itself then it takes planning and insight.
Do you understand.
I have been reading the latest American business press and we are not alone.
the whole western world is wrestling with this problem of rural emptying out but nobody seems to know how to deal with it unless it is aleatory and just a matter of chance.
wake up you fools.
Is there no one in the Wairarapa with any brains at all that can make a decision and make a frigging difference?
there you have it.
none of them have read the 1968 world bank report on the NZ economy or the 1999 BERL report on the Wairarapa.
They doint have to.
They know everything already!
if they want me to contribute then I require money.
a suit.
acar.
not snooty we know everything s and what the fuck would you know.
so.
got up this morning ad the sun was up.
I didi what Neil Young said what not to do.
I wore out the music.
ahhhhhhhhhf*cccccccccck!
and my arm.
last night it all came back.
Praise the Lord.
maybe the damage to my arm is permanent but I do get to use it now and then if I nurse it along.
at the moment its burning of the midnight lamp and erics version of little wing.
nice slow chords pumping out the full flavour.
so if ya dont want to pay me for what I am worth then I'll just do this.
hahahahahahahahahahahaha.
fucking hah!
