wairarapa economic miracle...

my student loan is around $70,000.
Economic and Business History.
I am never going to pay it off.
I could make a contribution here in the wairarapa but the local thickos want to either knock you out completely or make you look stupid.
however much they jump out and down and vibrate they still know that all things being equal their own little businesses are going to limp along giving them if not a grand living at least some sort of cahcet.
they DONT want anything new.
it means they will be left behind!
and besides I am not going to speak till I am paid.
they want it all for nothing.
twice I have given the ball to local body poobahs and each time they took it and fumbled and ran it into the dirt.
the berl report says it all.
the backbone of the wairarapa is farming.
anything else is an extra.
so how do make the extra.
that is the big question.
the elect are so busy running cake stalls and sausage sizzles in Queen Street going on about the amalgamation but one supsects they are just lining themselves up for the first election.

nice day and about 12;30 a Lockheed P3 Orion came right over the house.
clean as but only doing about 200knts (?).
if gave off a feeling not so much of menace but of restrained power.
It looked sleek and able.

mastering one song on the guitar is mastering them all.
you could just get a nice little guitar and learn to strum simple songs for your boys.
either they get it or they dont.
train whistle blowing.
all around the bay.
all bound fo rmorning town many miles away.

but beware of the guitar lessons.
the guy is gonna hit on you and he wont teach them right.
and they might turn out to be drug and alcohol addled mega rich womanising rock stars!

for an area like this it needs specific attention and a core of believers.
not just a gaggle of businessmen who think that business is going to accrete in an ad hoc fshion and then its all hunky dory.
just because the neo con playbook says that big government is bad and the market knows does not make that sort of hogwash the truth of the matter nor the keel that the  boat is built on.
