this is a brilliant piece of history from the BBC. they really gave the stones a hell of big break. tis doco is 2hrs and 17 minutes of 3 minutes or less mini masterpieces snapped up from the myriad of blues and r&b being produced in a marvellous torrent in 50's and 60's America. and what a band. keith learned all the riffs. mick learned the words. brian cooked up the icing and charlie and bill rocked steady. The production is crisp and clear before mick got the drawl and reverb juiced up to pefection. The miracle was they then went on to write and record their own substantial unrivalled by few bodies of work in the whole pantheon.
