Just read her tale in Sunday Magazine.
However her conclusions are way off beam.
she makes a whole raft of claims about psychosis based solely on her own experience.
She makes the monstrous claim that mental illness is solely a physical disease of the brain.
It may be for her brain but what about all the others and the mentally ill with no evidence of lesions at all.
This is coffee table journalism at its worst.
Trying to provide a happy ending for everybody and holding out false hope to others afflicted or their carers and families.
There may be congenital sufferers from asthma but the evidence suggests that asthma is primarily a mental disease induced by mentally and physically coddling the newborn to the point that they need more air.
what could be simpler but the confounders and confabulators always want to invent some other reason so they dont have to look at themselves or their family.
this is the reason Socrates was murdered.
he never tired of pointing out that just because you were an expert at something did not make you and expert at everything but these days anyone seems to be able to get up on a soapbox and correlate their experience into a universal.
