funny thing is I came to Bob Dylans guitar playing via the Byrds
who had really nifty arrangements
simple and easy to follow
no crap and biff the fake books.
with the odd Mcguin flourish chucked in.
tremendous stuff.
after I did their Play Dylan album I got back into the originals and immediately picked up on Bobs changes.
rhtyhmic and driving with the melody coming from the voice and topped off with some very dodgy harp playing.
thats another matter hehehe.
a tasty confection indeed.
anyway whatever way you look at it its sharp, razor sharp and the wholle band in itself.
brilliant.
the live takes are usually but not always in a different key
