James Shaw is getting coverage on RNZ today concerning personal safety for NZ members of pariliament
It can all be traced back to mathew hooton and the Dubya Bush presdential campaign instituted by one Karl Rove as the "PERMANENT CAMPAIGN".
Hooton swallowed this whole and so did the nationals party.
This abhorrent incubus on the popultion has given rise to a whole generation of pimply faced journalists and other functionaries loading the media 24/7 with endless material of little real consequence but maximum emotional content to cause as much dissatisfaction with everything as possible and create anger and fear
politics has become a bloodsport aided and abetted by a compliant and complicit media who know that conflict sells the goods.
