the sun is not yellow its chicken...

fanx Bob.
Lovely day today.
Sparrow building nests in the doorway flashing of the new events centre courtyard!
Daffodil day went off okay yesterday.
BUT!
They need to widen the vision.
Like a chase the greasy pig competition or a T-20 match at the park on the same day.
Its a neat park but nobody seems to know how to use it?
and Take Note.
Carterton is in the COUNTRY, you know green fields and all that.
There should be a PA doing old time fiddle music and bluegrass instrumentals instead of the pap coming off some radio network in Auckland.
DIG?
okay thats enough for now dudes.
Ma Rainey is just who you need at low volume to put your fractious child to sleep.
works every time!

cannery row, epistle to Karl Dufresne...

The old

The New

Great article on your trip to the U.S.A.
Sorry to hear about the noise.
Its made by ineffectual lard arses who have nothing going for them except to make an ugly noise.
Yep!
America's love affair with harleys began when the company realised that they were being cleaned up by the Japanese and their smooth creations and there own efforts were oil leakers and clunkers.
when they got that sorted out then the ad campaign began.
Now we have a generation of nincompoops who think that they are a concatenation of Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper.
Nup.
they just fAT BASTARDS WITH NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN TAKE THE BAFFLING  out of their exhausts and intimidate people with noise.
They like nothing better than to make a big noise and then fu*k off.
children really.
don't get me wrong.
I am admirer of the machinery and I like watching motorcycle racing on the telly with the sound off.
Great skills and very relaxing!
yes indeedy.
The cops in America must have given up on noise.
What with the crack and the smack they must figure they have got better things to do.
hmmmmmmmm.
Talking of noise ZK_PIG (zk-cby ?) is back to day.
doing the same thing.
I jump out of a plane so I want you to know all about it.
I am going to spoil your weekend and wake you up from your well earned rest by flying over your house with the prop in fine.
Just because I can and you cant catch me!
re: the Grapes of Wrath.
I never finished it.
I could see where it was going and I couldn't handle that.
I got removed from Sunday school when I wouldn't stop crying when the lassie kept going on about the injuries done to the man on his way to Samaria.
A.J. Liebling.
Politics in Louisiana.
A bit like here.
hehehehehehehehehe.
just got back from my own little mini tour of the north island.
It aint lile it used to be.
the land of the long white roadsign.
nobody seems happy (?)
all wrapped up in their ipodes and phones that are smarter than them!
and
catching the last trainhome there were at least five security guards on the station.
they didnt know the timetable and they were rude!
when I shook them off one said have a nice weekend.
my rejoinder was I'LL send you a postcard and let you know.
Now I guess I am a trouble maker for not wanting to be shoved around by the hired hands.
In the interim I went to the personal services but there are no self storage lockers.
WTF?
Is this a railway station or a profit centre for the security firm?

epistle to Rosemary Mcleod...

Jacksonville!
I like that.
When is a museum not a museum.
When they sell popcorn peanuts and candyfloss and tickets for rides.
Museums are where you go to look at the past and have a think.
Now in the usual way they have become something else entirely.
Somewhere to go and sneer at, say It wasnt much and go looking for some other infantile distraction.
plus Kiwi stories really aren't that much.
Usually some teenage lesbian or other geek whose mummy didn't love him.
angst angst angst.
Wah wah wah.
No conflict.
no resolution.
no plot.
no drama.
Just me and my thingamabob and where can I put it.
hehehehehehehehe.
Poor old Masterton.
Air New Zealand has pulled the plug but they want it laid on just in case.

anyway getting back to the dude who thinks NZ is run by idiots he should really modify his opinion.
It is run by spineless pussy whipped capons spurred on by porcine avaricious overweight females who think they are men.
hehehehehehehehe.

willow weep for me...

I feel the need for speed.
Watched Chatos Land last night.
VG.
heheheheheheh.
Found Willow at the Redhouse today.
Cheap.
Gotta stay out of there.
I can always find something new.
So I also got two Kris Kristofferson CD's on deep discount and A Chuck Berry double CD also.
The joint was rockin', goin' roun an roun.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS...
and.
The RSPCA going far beyond its brief calling for children to stop hunting possums.
They are just as destructive as pussy's and if you cant accept that then you are barking up the wrong tree.
NZ is filled with introduced animal pests and they must be eradicated.
I don't see the RSPCA complaining about all the horses getting slaughtered for feline tasty treats.
DIY.
Yep at last the drongos awaken.
Just because Mike or some other dweeb can whip up a fence, kitchen deck or whatever and wants YOU to buy some hardware from his shop does not mean your job is gonna turn out like the one on Teevee.
I mean would you get a brain transplant from some guy who read about how to do it in a book?
It might be your DREAM to make something just like the guy on the idiot box  but most jobs take skill and experience and the outcome for some geek who thought he could is usually pretty gruesome!!!!!!

once upon a time...

got this yesterday from the redshed.
was better than watching the procession of banal tripe marching across the screens of our nation, changing our lives forever, and reducing the populace to slavering aquirers.
forgot to mention that 7secret something or whatever values this blog at $8.95.
any takers?

Had to laugh yesterday.
The Swedish road safety expert on afternoons with Jim said there were too many road signs.
Do this, do that, dont do that blah blah blah.
He obviously didnt reckon on the kiwi propensity for telling others what to do!
Especially when they have the POWER.
Kiwis pride themselves on being honest, straightforward and forthright when they are basically sneaky, devious and oblique.
Dont get better.
Get even.
Once upon a time there were only three road signs.
60mph, 30 mph and keep left.
However after the 90's when the nitwits were inpower they couldn't handle the keep left sign so they eradicated it and filled the roads up with other incessant commands for obedience.
Anyway every problem in New Zealand could be soilved if they turned off the Teevee every night at 9 o'clock and put a 20c impost on petrol so people would have to get used to being with themselves instead of spending all their time on the road to nowhere!

any major dude...

will tell you.
any minor world that falls apart baby falls together again.
yep.
Couldnt watch the teev last night.
Either vacuous inane sitcoms or gratuitous violence.
no wonder the people here are a bit funny.
its non-stop!
hmmmm.
I watched Crossfire Hurricane and Big Trouble IN LIttle China instead from the collection.
Talking of the Rolling Stones. Music is all style.
Even now nearly 60 years on there are factions that: like the RS but no the Beatles. LIke the Beatles but not the Rolling Stones, like both or like neither.
The thing is that when kids at the Rock and Roll school in Masterton are required to adopt these sorts of atitudes then they miss the whole poin tof how the music was made in the first place, why and how.
Never mind.
Get a job in CAbaret.
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
Then you dont have to pay your dues.
I see fatboy slim david farrar wasn't allowed in to the NZLP fandango this weekend.
who does he think he is.
somewhat similar to the geep from the wharecowshed who rang up one day and ordered me to take down a message for my flatmate.
I guess if the Roling Stones farted between your sheets you are entitled to feel that you are somebody.
nup.
Paul McCartney.
Half a page in the rag this a.m. going on about how you had a nervous breakdown when the Beatles finished.
Do you still need this publicity Paul.
Must say that I forked out for new CD's of Beatles Masters and Magical Mystery Tour recently.
Money well spent too!
heheheheheheh.
Thjankyou Paul for brightening the whole world up for a tad.
It was all worth it.
Got them from the Warehouse where there is a new shipment of CD's and DVD's just in.
I cant thank the Warehouse enough for all the wonderful music I have bought there over the years.

Thinking about the civil rights movement in the USA in the 60's and rallying sonngs like "Blowing In the Wind" and We Shall Overcome and then wonder how the NAACP is going to rally people to the cause with:Kill The Fucking Cops" and "Fuck Off Bitch".
hmmmmmm.

now for something completely different...
