the altar song. RIP Errol Brown...

Dave Letterman.
Great to see the first lady on the show the other day.
And the Prez's own Marine Band.
I saw them live in Wellington New Zealand when they played at the Battle of the Coral Sea Commemoration ceremonies.
They came down Willis St and filled the whole street with powerful music and sheer presence.
It made me proud.

Dave I always look at your guests to see which one puts the arm on you when you shake hands with them.
The ones that do are usually deficient in character.
They have no idea about personal boundaries and where their own power starts and finishes.
In other words they are bullies.
ditto for Tugger Key.
He now believes that he can trample on the sensibilities of anyone he pleases and the Kiwi Press corps thinks it ok.
Most of them are just overgrown infants with the smarts to get the job but no real idea about the world except the view from the beehive.
I guess they are just bullies too.

Farewell  Errol Brown.
If ya see Elvis up there could you ask him to send money back?

Big item in the rag this am about rap being more influential than the Beatles.
Yeah well come back in 50 years time and see if the homeys are still whistling the melodies to all that rap crap.
Wait....rap doesn't have a melody so it aint music.
Its just the vanity press of crack dealers and will all be over soon.
Just because all the feebs like it it now is no guarantee of longevity.

Record Breaking New Zealand--third largest fatheads in the WHOLE WORLD...

yep and getting bigger every day!
The place has gone mad with people making stuff up and then proclaiming it as the truth and if you disagree then someone will get around to bashing you up if they can get aclear shot!
thats the way it works around here.

more on Willis Chipmunk.
he more or less accused Alice Cooper of satanism but Alice replied it wasnt but only RKO Pictures circa 1935.
Just l;ike the dance of the seven veils.
not mentioned in the bible but now part of the of folklore because of a movie.
See the fatheads round here not only dont know what satanism is they dont even know who made the movies.
they dont really know anything unless some govt department spends some of its budget producing a  nauseating pr campaign telling us all what to say and think.
Its just the same as Stalinism except you dont get sent to Siberia.
You just get sent to Coventry.

And Kartharine Ryun.
Her vocal affectations get worse by the day.
Now its a grarph.
sort of like a giraffe but not quite.
Its very annoying and shows the determination of basically a little person to make themselves seem more interesting or distinguished or just plain stupid.

democracy in new zealand...

the troops are flat out going to here there and everywhere to fight for someone elses democracy but in the meantime the whole country is becoming more concentrated and centralised and monolithic.
When the Wairarapa was first settled it was a model of the English county system and it all came together in some sort of organic fashion.
now its just grab everything under the rubric of efficiency or anything just as long as the power is gathered.
but going back to the origins there was nothing wrong with the system of local government then and there is nothing wrong with it now.
the thing is that all the grifters, carpetbaggers and other cheap operators can see another opening for gathering power or re-distributing it so they can get some for themselves.
So what has changed since the 1850's.
the short answer is nothing except there are more greedy bastards who want to get their hands on anything they can and now looks like one of those times.

Ron Mark.
The only man in the wairarapa with enough mongrel to tell the fat lazy sausage roll stuffers where to get off.
His job is not to be polite and kiss arse but to do the best for his constituency.
He is fighting an uphill battle at the moment.
The commercial sectors and the services sector  think that they will cream it if the amalgamation goes ahead but it is only a one off and then I suppose they will all piss off taking their ill gotten gains with them.
None of them have got a clue about creating lasting job opportunities or anything for that matter.
Just another gang of compradores looking for the main chance.
And the Wairarapa will be at the mercy of another gang of know all contractors let loose on the environment with showers of glycophosphate spray because they don't know how to bend over and pull out a bloody weed!
Just like the fat arses in wellington who have come to beleive that their word is law and the rest of us are just here to amuse them by jumping through hoops and tripping up to amuse them.
Well you can all fuck off back to where you came from!

wild cherry...

the thing about being an amateur is that you can pick from the whole cannon and not just ones own catalogue.
which means if you feeling frisky thenyou can download the chords and disco on down till you drop.
heheheheheheehehe!
lay down the boogie and play that funky music till you die.
nooooooo.

aint never gonna die.

wairarapa economic miracle....

when?

never gonna happen.
local yokels sclerotic and suffering from incipient alzheimers.

butters band...

Nifty interview with Alice Cooper on RNZ Sunday Morning.
Willis Chipmunk tried twice to get the ups on Alice but he could not dent the sincerity and breadth of a real person.
You know.
someone wots done it.
a big fish in a big pond.
anyway.
Alice dug the Yardbirds who were right there on the leading edge till they imploded.
The guitarist all went on to stellar careers but the band never recovered.
there ya go.
anyway ny one regret inlife is never being able to falsetto like Plant so there ya go again.

Alice flummoxed Willis when he said that his favourite live band was Paul Butterfield. At that time MIke BLoomfield would have been leading the charge.
I bet they they were hot.
All willis could muster was a purse lipped little 'really'.
Yeah really willis.
None hotter.

Lookingat old plane mags and one dude opined that a Hawker Hunter T7 could emit a "blue" note?

love to hear tht one.
tons of feedback and resonating overtones on the flattened thrid of the major scale from the old rolls royce avon.
yeahhhhhh.
hehehehehehehehe.

So Mathew Hooton this morning opining that the New Zealand Labour Party is hiding from the public.
he is right.
they are scared of the bloggers and social media.
their flagship blog TheStandard is as weak as piss and basically gutless. full of oblique opinions and opaque nonsense.
They need to attack and never stop.
instead they have retreated into the shell of bourgeoise do gooders with no backbones.
They are fucking jellyfish!
prudish twerps worried about what people are going to say about them.
bah wah wah.
ya get that.

now for something completely different...
