Sunday morning. All is well. Nothing in the paper except the RWC Minister blowing his own trumpet.
To pretend that somehow staging the RWC was beyond the powers of New Zealand is disingenuous and smacks of trying to use the RWC as a lynchpin for domestic politics. If New Zealand could not organise this then we wouldn't really be capable of organising anything and that is patently untrue. That may be the rugby way to play the underdog and then come up trumps on the day but the organisation of the whole event should proceed under a better basis than that.

He says the main problem is poverty. Well giving money will not cause the poverty to go away. They never answer the question of how the poverty arrived in the first place.
