there is a limit to how many people there can be on any one scene and there was more than one scene in london in the 1960's.
there probably was a core and a periphery but so what.

as far as I can tell when somebody in NZ invents a new thing or process the intention is to hold it as close to the chest as possible even to the extent of denying it if it looks as if it might slip away.
you know that microsoft was never a single owner peculium nor was standard oil but there it seems as if all mine or nothing.
