Since I returned to the place of my birth all the manques parvenus johnny come lateleys, upstarts, woulld be movers and shakers have done their absolute best to make out I am sort of idiot wildman.
MY parents did more for this region than any local history will ever recognise or give them credit for and when I went to tuniversity at the tail end of my life I wanted to be able to make a contribution but the noo noo heads wont budge an inch.
In their minds there is never enough to go around and they have trouble recognising that some things when you give them away come back triplefold.
anyone who has read the 1968 world bank report on the new zealand economy and the 1993 berl report on the Wairarapa will know that the economy rolls on what ever the frantic brouhaha spouted by anyone who wants office and that any extras to the basic primary producing industries are adventitious and almost aleatory.

If you want something to happen then you have to make sure the necessary and sufficient conditions are met bu around here they are more intent on tripping you up for their own benefit rather than seeing the whole region go ahead.
