Good piece in the SPINOFF.CO.NZ by Ian Shirley on why Auckland is not working.
It seems part of the problem is being strangled by a plethora of corporate structures sucking money out of the council in large quantities to pay for deadwood staffs.
This is solely due to bankrupt ideology and must cease.
Only Labour can cut the gordian knot.
Auckland is tired of endless doubletalk and looting of the coffers for redundant services.

Angela Merkel set to give Trump a few whacks to the head.
He is a dunce, a curmudgeon
and foolish to think that the can go it alone.
Maybe he can for the short term but his policies are going to hurt the world and his own country more than he can personally possibly imagine.
