shoot a few holes and blow their minds...
went to the country club today.
the joint was jumping.
I got a slot.
mamas dont let your babies grow up to be cowboys.
ed bruce special for waylon and willie.
then sat at the back of the hall trying to figure out the key and play along on the Ibanez.
sometimes my chords didnt seem to fit right no matter what I did but I stopped then.
rest of the time it is great to brush up on technique.
rapid strumming, lead and turnarounds and try and copy the arpeggios on the accordion.
fun for the kiddies.
had to split for the ride home so never got to sing Billy Joe Shavers Black Rose at full tilt and
put on a show.
ya get that.

tomorrow I start on technique of child psychoanalysis; conversations with Anna Freud.
See if it is any good.
compare and contrast it to other offerings.

no more posts at the moment...
1. the new york crowd still after mark zuckerberg.
they really want to carve the bird.
what they dont seem to understand is that he made it and to all and intents and purposes it is his.
2. and I suppose I could complain to someone but nobody will listen.
my page or timeline or whatever it is called has become infested with nationals party MP's who never have a comments button on their pages.pretty cheezy really.

some junkie stole my red guitar God works in wondrous ways...
bought a cheap Squier the other day.
For the PINK paint job.
It is cheapo but it plays okay and has good electronics and pickups.
One fault.
After a while one begins to feel like throwing up for no good reason!
very odd.
it has to be the colour scheme.
if it is I am going to repaint it myself!
that will be fun.
taking it all to bits.
Just becoming reconnecting with Bertrand Russell.
probably the greatest philosopher of the 20th century.
sitting on my front porch with the pink strat beside me and the oxford companion to philosophy and looking for precision in thought and melody.

Black Snake Creek Band, Aratoi...
two weeks ago the old geezers put on a show. in the old presbyterain church at Aratoi.
the night was opened by Dr Roberts Grafia and then the main course.
In a covers band its all about the choices and they pulled some humdingers out of the bag.
the playing was not of the highest order but in very good time from the bass and plenty of variations from the guitar.
When they got into top gear some of the crowd got up and boogied with some fervour indeed.
OnebeautifulIndian maid did this dance I never seen before. Cross between classic Indian Folk Dancing and line dancing. There were several other ladies rocking on and I suspect they may have been the bands wives but they were having a jolly good time.

A good time was had by all at the Carterton events centre last Saturday night as Mastertons Pink Floyd Tribute Band led by Toby Mills performed a concert set from the albums complete with light show.
