It has become the custom in New Zealand for the leader of the oppostion party, todd muller of the Nationals, to claim that members of their shadow cabinet have portfolios. This is a term that encompasses the briefings to Ministers of the government from their departments and not to members on the oppostion benches.
they do NOT have portfolios.
Whoever invented this nonsense needs to be brought to book and the use of the term for the oppostion to cease.
you may wonder about the use of miss spelling of opposition but the Nationals party have become so arrogant and sure of themselves that they can't be bothered  proofreading their own advertising material.
