billy in the lowground...

My first instrument was the 5 string banjo. I never had the smooth wrist action so I swapped to guitar.

I still wanted to play the tunes I heard on the "String Band Project" so I learned a small repertoire out of books. Not quite the improvisor that I thought I could be but learning tunes note for note up and down the neck was good preparation for when I finally got the ELECTRIC!

One of the tunes I picked at random was Billy In The Lowground which happens to be a bluegrass favourite and shostopper at festivals. I dont think I am quite in that league but I still love them toons!
