Q: What do you call someone who says,"what are all these acorns doing here when they are standing under an Oak tree?
A: if I tell you then the people next door will spit the dummy!
they say oak trees fall over in high winds.
fallacy of sayings sort of but if an oak tree has been planted as aseedling there is a fair possibility of this happening to mature trees but if it has been sown, i.e. grown from an acorn in situ then it will have a tap root and will never ever fall over no matter how many people say it will.
