Whats wrong with New Zealand? About three weeks ago the Sunday Star Times Magazine had an article entitled, "how to annoy a famous rock star". i.e. Slash.
Well why would you want to annoy Slash?
I think it would have been better to ask him about his music which btw is phenomenal.
Thanks Slashy.
Well New Zealand is filled with no-talents who's only means of compensation is to try to drag everyone down to their level.
anyway.
two good scores at the family shop this morning.Jerry Garcia and David Grismans "Not For Children Only", ***** and Leonard Cotrells "lost Cities".
Lost Cities was written in the time before sleek geeks got up on teevee and told everyone where to go for their next trip to nowhere.
See New Zealanders really have no interest in the places they visit.
all they want is the piccies so they can take them back home and skite about it.
Blah.
Anyway the CD is cool. They do a version of the kids nonsense song "Jenny Jenkins".
I first heard that song on on an 18 part series RNZ did on country music back in the 80's.
That is before RNZ became a style rag for haricut junkies.
It took me years to track down that song on a bluegrass anthology that a pal had but now I have a good copy and I might just work Jenny Jenkins up to performance level.
I.e. Learn the words...larfffs.
About time RNZ did a replay of that programme if they can manage to elbow all the dweebs off the air on a Sunday afternoon.
Whats wrong with New Zealand part two: heard a woman being interviewed on radio spud (sports radio) and she talked about My All balcks, my american football, my basketball as if the whole world has been created solely and only for her benefit.
They all talk like that nowadays it seems. DONT THEY?
Over the weekend tried an unauthorised bio of Paris Hilton.
There is something repellent about women like her.
I cant finish it.
Nothing there that I want or need and I dont think I would even become aroused if I looked at her porn vid.
What has the world come to?
And a one volume history of the Pacific War.
Those guys gave everything and more.
It wasn't tiddlywinks.
