I read about the veterans going off to El Alamein for remembrance services .
It just went past in the usual way of TV but this week I purchased a swag of vids going cheap and one of them was great battles of WWII which included the battle of El alamein.
General Freyberg and his men were known as the Left Hookers because they were given the flankers job far out inot the desert and the roughest going.
they deserve every plaudit possible for the way they conducted themselves and the way they did the job.
I salute you.
and.Suicide in New Zealand.
Very high numbers.
Every tv bulletin leads off about the causes but when the interviewees come on there is never any mention of the causes and the segment becomes an advertisement for. the next great suicide preventor.
i.e. its all about them.
ho hum.
why doesn't someone engage a corps of anthropologists and psychiatrists and really find out why this evil plagues our beeyootifull lil counytry?

It seems that gangs in NZ are trying to infiltrate the NZ Police.
Attack is the best method of defense.
Gangs are just like ordianry folk in that they want all the toys and fripperies that modern society can provide they just dont want to work for them.
anyway.
The best way to combat gangs is the same way to combat boy wussers.
In their puerile imaginings they think that if their vehicles have no mufflers then their power is equal to the noise they make.
Just so.
Concentrate on noise and you've got them.
Forget about  the sleuthing and all the rest.
Just hammer their egos!!!!!
