going to be very hot today.
I am sitting in the Carterton Library with the glare coming in the window giving me a frigging headache.
I ask why there are no curatins and no one can give a satisfactory answer.
I have heard it all from the architect has the power to decide what happens here???????
it is a heritage building...well there were no neon lights when this building was first erected.
In other words the patrons and ratepayers are being subjected to bureaucratic ineptitude and downright inanity.

Kathryn Ryan fluffing on about Chris Christie trying to pretend the closing of the bridge lanes over the Hudson River is news when Dave Letterman has been going on about it for weeks now.
The news mavens in New Zealand are basically insular and infantile. They adopt what Anne Wilson Shaeff calls the white male power attitude which is we know everything there is to know and what we dont know isn't important otherwise we would know it.
They are more interested in catching people out and hectoring interviewees for bad news than any objective interest in the world around them.
You see they have the JOB and in a shoulder tapping hair and teeth system like New Zealand they are pretty secure and immune from any criticism or analysis of their shortcomings which they brush off as tall poppy syndrome.
Yeah right.
most of them are mental midgets so its not exactly hard.
They want to be considered as intellectuals when at bottom they just got lucky.
So there ya go.
Good to see Barack Obama thumbing his nose at the GOP control of congress.
You know the ones that want less government control of everything but want to be there more than anything.
