Went to the Warehouse where they had specials on some CD's for $1!
Yes indeedy.
I will be forever greatful to the warehouse for the all the fabulous music I have bought there.
CD's are rapidly becoming low tech so get em while they're stil available.
And I got this NEATO dvd of The Band.
A FRENCH one?
More of a doco really with lots of interviews with the survivors from the ages plus Clapton,Elliot Landy, Bernie Taupin, George Harrison.
Levon is a monster musician.
They all were.
It made me sad to realize that many of the best have gone now but the record remains.
MY fave Band song is always Daniel And The Sacred Harp even if all round Stagefright is not their best album.
Thanks guys.
You will live forever.
When the musical archaeologists of the future dig down and find all this music it will be enough to spark a renaissance.
At the time it all seemed disposable as new music rolled out of the radio everyday but the cognoscenti always recognized the good stuff and this is it.
