Just been to your website which did not say who was the announcer this afternoon.

I want to tell them that NZ is not a young country.
since its inception there have been no political revolutions, dismemberments or additions to the territory.
there are very few country's that can make this same claim.
this nonsense about being a young country is one of those kiwi "specials" that the mediocre semi-intellectuals who run the country below the central governmen level use to excuse their ineptitude and lack of imagination.
got that!
very few countries have been in existence longer than New Zealand.
One other thing.
I am heartily sick of the semi-intellectual pontificating about society glorified as culture and therefore impervious to change because they said so.
culture is the anlaysis and comparsion of learned patterns of behaviour that man uses to master the natural world.
society is what people do to fill in their time and is not necessary to the functioning of the whole.
