when kookie and kay heard that the beatles had smoke a J a t buckingham palace when they were getting their MBE's they became aggrieved and looked around for a suitable target and while they were living closeby they decided on parliament.
in those days it was runby old men pensioned off from the services or the railways and it was relatively easy to walk in and roam the place.
