a miracle today at carter court. there is no sound of a noisy motormower nor idiot walking round with a spraypack dealing death to all and sundry.
sunrise came softly and in this green ecosystem the colours were exquisite.
the hedge is magnificent.
it needs trimming but at the moment it is gorgeous
whoever planted it knew what they were doing.
a total mixture of delicate scented flower and seed bearing varieties.
next door wants to cut it down in favour of a row of bottle brush bushes with no maintenance
more lazy shit from people who have no idea of aesthetics or what they are doing.
I never objected when the light bulb changer convinced the manager with spurious reasoning to chop down my oak tree that grew from an acorn.
obviously it would have grown to be a giant. it was going for it but it was in the wrong place.
he even massacred the one at the end of the precinct that would never have done any harm to anyone with the same spurious reasoning. meanwhile his peach tree that he planted to leave his mark is okay!
time for carter court to make these people re-apply for their jobs and in the meantime find some capable and qualified young men with energy and smarts to do the job properly in a professional manner.
