they start rolling out all this cruddy kiwi music as if it is soemthing special when it is mainly rubbish.
I have never bought a finn bros record or learned one of their songs.
they horrible.
same  with new zealand cooks.
there is one they keep rolling out and every time I think of her and food I want to upchuck but someone somwewhere has decided that that person is the image we need to cultivate.

and as fro grant smithies in the SST knocking Billy Ray Cyrus and his daughter I say poo to you.
I have read your columns for years and you know nothing about music.
just because you got the JOB doesn't mean to say you know what you are talking about and you dont!
Billy Ray is probably one of those bible belt noo noo heads but he can sing and his bands are good.
this spruiking of all things new zealand and pretending that we are better than anybody else is childish.
I heard a pop group down at Cartertons Carringotn Park last night who were very good.
they had everybody elses songs down to a tee but they were toooo nice and no visceral spark or grunt.
maybe they all want careers in cabaret?
you have to conform here or they down on you like a ton of bricks.
nobody is alloowed to be different and if you are there is always something fishy about it!
