first up my apologies to the ARL.
I get confused with so many groups wanting their piece of the pie.
My comment was actually about the NRL.
the announcers there have taken to using an interrogative at the end of their sentences.
I don't know why.
They never used to.
Interrogatives are dishonest, disrespectful and an invalid mode of argument.
Jenny May Coffin likes to use them too.

she is supposed to be a professional and TVNZ is supposed to set some sort of standard.

If I want to watch infantilised morons disrepect each other I can watch Coronation Street.

But she doesn't seem to know that using interrogatives is a form of bullying others to agree with her.

I hope I am not pissing in the wind but as long as they do it then they are going to get called on it.

I just want to watch the news and the weather and the sport without being bullied into agreeing with some piffling drivel that any announcer might think that in their wisdom I should like too.

I don't like children masquerading as adults and thinking that everything in the whole wide world that they find interesting then I should too just because they do.
