Nearly acorn time.
mums get your kids out there collecting them and then you can go for country rambles and spread them round.
you dont have to plant them.
just sprinkle them in likely areas where the stock cant nibble them off.
Looking for Lindsay Pooles book "Tomorrows Trees" but cant find it anywhere on the web?
I planted a few thousand maybe more pinus radiatas, douglas firs, corsican pines and others myself for the NZFS when they were a useful organisation and its time trees were brought back into the national consciousness and determined efforts made to replant the whole country.
Its all very well skiting about the Whakarewarewa plantation of Coastal Redwoods but hey how about more you dingbats.Otherwise its just show and tell and as Winston Peters would have it, "Pixie Dust".
