Listen to the guitar solo on Hank Williams song Move It On Over.
The guitarist from Bill Haleys Comets did and the one on Rock Around the Clock is nearly identical.
Buddy Holly listened hard too. If you listen to all his guitar solos, and he was no slouch then you hear the same elements almost note for note.
If you listen to Linda Ronstadt doing Buddy Holly songs then you can hear her guitarist Waddy Wachtel lifting the same solos again!
Listen to George Thorogood and he just does 'em the way he likes!
