cut to the chase...

Barack Obama
Hi Boss.
I see that august publication The Times is busy dribbling vitriol on your presidency again.
today there was a full page on the world section positing that you have blown it and what?
apart from the fact that The times is staffed by a whole lot of wannabe trotskyites waiting for the revolution and that the British PM is geopolitically impotent the editor of the times wants you to start flinging missiles around and embroiling the world in an unnecessary conflict that will be solved by diplomacy.
Just recently the local rag featured another op-ed half page on the mysteries of womens handbags and opined that they were complex creatures when the fact of the nmatter is that they are devious and not straightforward.
That seems to be the limit of their analysis and ability ot look at an issue properly.
They think that you "ought" to be able to solve the whole mid-east problem before the late edition so they can squeeze it in between ads.
Furthermore they dont seem to have anyone on the staff that understands the difference between the republican democracy of the United States and the parliamentary system.
They willfully ignore that the reason some of your programmes are not being implemented is because they are being stymied by  the same faction that wants to do you down.
NICE.
In other words they are ignorant drongos out trying to cause mischief and because we live in the antipodes and dont have the full picture they succeed in sucking in the resident reactionaries and local racist nitwits.

get em dude

Anyway kids.
the deal is that Paul  Shaffer played some wild harp the other day on the Late showe.
What a great band.
and
I bought a doublecd of Etta Jmaes from the thrifshop the other day and never [layed it till last night and  what asurprise.
she has the most gorgeous voice and absolutely clear diction that twangs every single heartstring to the max.
she was the goods and I'm reallly sorry I didn't appreciate her till she passed.
Love ya Etta till my dying day.
