I cant explain...

the fact of the matter is nobody can.
Lovely day today.
All the wrinklies out spraying their weedkiller around while veryone else is at work.
What is wrong with people who believe that the best way to make anything grow is to spray everything else with fucking weedkiller.
Why are these geriatric wiseacres trying to poison the world.
What the fuck has happened to their power of ratiocination?
Great Late Show with David Letterman last night.
Really fabulous views of New York in the breaks.
I appears that Mayor Bloomberg has won another term but you wouldn't know it if you read the rag.
However the main event was the Mayor of Chicago Rahm Emmanuel.
He was on promoting the doco Gatekeepers about being chief of staff and senior advisor to two presidents, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
I hope they show the doco here but you never can tell.
There is a very childish streak of anti AAmericanism running through the broadcasting system here.
They don't mind shrieking sheilas with big boobs  ad lib ad hoc ad nauseum but not the real.
I had never heard Rahm Emmanuel speak before and to my surprise he sounded genuine.
He should be the next potus.
hehehehehehe.
Paul Shaffer did a mighty impression of Butters and the joint was rocking.
next..

Mike Bloomfield

Rahm Emmanuel

Muddy Waters and The Paul Butterfield Band with Michael Bloomfield playing guitar are two of the greatest things ever to come out of Chicago and their art will last for EVER!
Dig?
Ricky Gervais.
There is no evidence that frozen shoulders will heal themselves.
Stay away from doctors who want to experiment on you and promise cures they cant deliver.
I had one and by golly it was painful but the local physiotherapist cum horse doctor (!!!!!!) gave me exercises and showed me how to manipulate the pressure points in my arms and shoulder and it came right after about six months of intensive effort.
She herself was very surprised about how I did it but after thirty years of playing the guitar, which probably did it in the first place I wasn't about to let it get away.
noooooooo.
And it was bad posture and reading music without a stand that was the real culprit.

Cool Doco on The Whos QUADROPHENIA on Prime TV last night.
Poor Keith Moon.
Very very sad.
Thats Rock 'n Roll kiddies.

MUddy
Mike Bloomfiled was a rich kid and late at night the Limo would pull up outside some south side of Chicago club and the chauffeur would haul Mikes amp out and on to the stage and Muddy would let him sit in!

Nothing happens like that anymore.
The whol eworld has been sloganned out and the population is suffering from inanity and feeblemindedness brought on by too much weedkiller in the food and too many slogans pumped into their brains off the Teevee.
Sad but trooooooo.

Later....
BTW I was abit surprised to read Colin MOrriss review of the JImmie Rodgers re-released compilation.
Jimmie Rodgers has been a deep wellof inspiration for country music ever since he was first recorded back in the 1930's.
Everybody from Gene Autry to Doc Watson to Maria Muldaur to gaspppp Jerry Garcia has recorded some of his songs.
Rodgers voice and guitar playing is still potent and on some of his best tracks you will find LOuis Armstrong vamping and playing solos along with single strin virtuoso Lonnie JOhnson doing the fills.
More Jimme Rodgers I say and he should be oin the radio more often.
NOW!
