I believe that most august body the Parliament of New Zealand is debating the legalization of Cannabis today.
Lets hope they make the right decision.
Time to take this thing away from the enforcers of arcane laws who somehow have come to believe that they have some sort of moral authority over the rest of us and the criminal gangs and the JUSTICE INDUSTRY.
They all making money out of something you can grow in your own backyard.
They love it when some pimply faced hairy arsed kid gets up in the dock and says "the drugz made me do it".
yeah right.
Makes them feel all righteous and gooey inside coz they have done one for the kidz.
Meanwhile the whole country has turned into snoops looking to send their neighbours to jail just because they can.
ugggggggggggggggggggggggh.
The day of the CD is almost over or so they say.
They all want mine but they wont pay!
Hurry into the warehouse now and get your artifacts before they vanish forever.
Still I still have my cassettes and there are people around who don listen to anything else.
made a list the other day for a friend of mine in the biz and he wanted just those ones that I love the most.
No deal.
But he can have the 5cd Art Tatum collection.
I only like piano live but Art sure was cool.
They have not made another one like him for a long time now.
Why is that I wonder?

The one about Wendy Petrie got a hit.
No apologies whatsoever.
The media in NZ is not exactly out of control but they have an overweening idea of privilege and a sense of their own infallibility which approaches the Popes and they are all seemingly possessed of an overabundance of unadapted juvenile omnipotence.
I was going to use another word but I know for sure that the ad agencies peruse this blog looking for ideas because basically they are juveniles too and bereft of any hint of learning or and adult world view.
Petrie and her cohort are inveterate users of interrogatives.
aren't they.
These linguistic figures of speech are invalid modes of argument and dishonest and disrespectful to boot.
They imply that people cant make up their own minds about anything and also that people should agree with the interlocutor.
In short a trick to guarantee obedience.
And re Ruth Brown someone wuz trying to ace her on 9-noone this am but all they did was present some strident sheila trying to out Whitney Houston Whitney Houston with the most horrible clanging backing I have heard for a long time.
People have been bombarded with crap for so long now they have no idea of what is good anymore.
As long as it is NEW then it must be goood.
yeah right.
as the old jazzer moldy figs used to say but it still is true: popular music is not good and good music is not popular!
This country is absolutely overrun by the media.
An article in the rag on Tuesdays TV section about Neil from Men Behaving Badly made a few observations about how some people believe everything they see or hear e.g. Doris Archer dying and some other nonentity from Coronation St needing the intervention of the british PM to re-assure people that all would be well.
and John Key and his flag. Assuming that all kiwis are labrats and will do what they are told by All Blacks and other ball whackers.
hahahahahahahahahahaha.

They could not play and glorified the fact.
They sunk popular music.
I agree with John Peel who opined that you could not listen to your record collection for the rest of your life but serving up garbage was no answer to that.
Now nobody can play or they steal a sample like the vanity press of coke dealers from the projects.
Its all fucking hgastly but the media is behind it so bow down to the mighty God of sales and despoliation of the environment and the complete dumbing down of the populace.
