the reason Socrates was condemned to death was because he pointed out that wqhile the ruling junta may have known their own business back to front it was no guaranteed that they knew anything else!

anyway the reason I get so pissed off with kiwi big noters is that they immediately think they know everything straight after they get the job and if you are a radio new zealand listener then one has to listen to jackanapes straight from the elocution lessons and I have a great haircut school suddenly get put into a position where they can talk down to the rest of us when they are no better than anyone else and probably worse.
sinuous whining and fake bullshit is at a premium these days and if it wasn't for RNZ Concert then the radio would be almost permanently switched off.
And then the question remains as to how do these people get selected.
Is there something deeply wrong with the HR people at RNZ or are they just dazzled like everyone else by mouth almightys and the big haircut and the whining voice?
when there are no alternatives and the powers that be wont listen then it is shit street for ever.
