Much thanks to the local library.
They have acquired five of Chester Himes novels.
Easily tghe equal of Hammett and Chandler they are not to n=be missed or dismissed. hehehehe.
I believe the Cook is on his last legs these days but it was a mission to liberate the big poster from the theatre lobby.
