American Old Time Banjo and Fiddle Music

this is the best music in the world. anyone can learn to play this style with a little bit of application and a smidgen of will ( I want to and I'm going to.)
the trick is to learn the chords, then the bass and then work out some bass lines all on the six string. THen it is not al that hard to cop the fiddle lines and pedal steel lines and hey presto you are in the band.
and.
if for instance you learn the solo for move it on over then you have a solo that can be transferred into any key and any blues.

Now how wonderful is that?

I am sure it is the multi purpose solo that Buddy Holly used and John Fogerty and everyone else.
