hi kiddies the libray is closing this facility down tomorrow so no more blogs ad nauseum. t-stick treasures only. you would think the Carterton District Council could keep the wi-fi going in the info centre but no. apparently some users dont count.

anyway life moves on and nothing lasts for ever.
Learning the guitar is easy now but perhaps digital technology has not been a major contributor. Who knows the song "nobody loves you when you're down and out?
I found the chords in an Eric Clapton songbook before the interweb and I had an old sony tape radio with a condenser mike which I used to lay down my rhythym track and proctised solo's over til I drove the people next door nutty. hehehehehehehe. and then, and then I took to playing the solo on one string only and that was huge. I never recovered.
But the main news today was the death of Jerry Lieber. RIP Jerry. Who knows how much joy you and Mike brought to the world. The world owes you more than it will ever know.
If I was a drinking aman I would have more than one for you.
