saturday night at the movies....

dompost this morning.
item on retirement commissioner.
its all about money.
q. what should 14 year olds be doing.
a. start saving for their retirement.
Sean Plunket.
the prank call was not humour.
the media has been taken over by young vibrant idiots.
they think they are funny but they aren't really.
just demented juveniles with ADD and an overweening sense of their own importance and magical omnipotence.
 fleas really.
op-ed
tracy watkins and vernon small.
you didnt mention cannabis legalisation.
its time is now.
forget about the would be christians and their simplified morality for macpeople.
time for some real leadership.
If john key is going to do anything for his legacy then this is the issue.
this country is full of snobs and sooners.
the problem with this is they hog everything that is foul and despise anything that is fair.
they wanna see a truck pull up and take away their rubbish rather than dig a hole and recycle waste.
oh and go to cashew pikku on their hardlee davisons tooooo.....
as soon as fonterra is sold off to the "company" and the peasants realise what has happened to their individuality and autonomy the better.
this week have read "Echo Park" b y Michael Connolly and am getting into "The Forgotten"  by David Baldacci.
Both of them start off with long discourses involving pumped barely up educated  functionaries exceeding their powers and doing their best to make everyone else look small and defeated.
Thats the way they do it in that democracy here it is even worse.you might have employed someone who brushes their teeth everymorning and pulls their underpants up tight but when they have some power granted to them by the stte they seem to want to trip you up and fuck you up just for the hell of it.
or more to th epoint to get one back at those who have more mental equipment.
talking to a young Maori boy the other day and we got onto the state of the world and I mentioned New Zealand being filled with scared frightened people and his contribution was, "and nasty ones too".
wherever you look it aint good.
the scared ones wont take a chance and they nasties just ride roughshod.
anyway.
got a good book of quotes from the Library this a.m.
how about this one from John Connally, ex governor of Texas.
George Bush: all hat and no cattle.
nearly fell off the floor
later...
listening to TRIO with Dolly Parton, Emmy LOu Harris and Linda Ronstadt.
Linda is the Queen Bee.
hehehehehehe.
and
think about the Colin Pugh Sportsbowl in Masterton.
Its now the Pelorus Trust (?) all Weather Track.
of course the vandals got in and tore it up with their motobikees.
real tough guys.
anyway the Masterton District Councils response was to put a frigging great fence right down one of the towns most hisrotiric walkways.
I refuse to beleive that that is the best they can do.
they are just corporate vandals.
Tear the damm thing down think about it and start again.
plonkers.
and the Wairarapa Times Age doesn't come off too well in all this.
their reporters are always too busy doing the sidewalk warrior bit outside the Cafe to actually take a walk.
A WAlk?
What the fuck is that?
Thats what poor people do.
and Pathways.
the quango supposedly who know everything there is to know about alchoholism.
well my friends alchoholics get a bad press in New Zealand. It takes the heat off the rest of them. anyway to get around this the powers that be (THEY) always shoulder tap upper class (larffffs,) semi nobbs) to fill positions that become vacant in the upper echelons  of qunagodom.
they are never advertised.
the one they got now is a hair and teeth job with plenty of money already (inherited) and now "the job"!
i.e. $260,000 a year plus a $60,000 car and gas card..
and he thinks he is a psychiatrist.
yeah right. I guess he thinks he's smart because when he goes to the PRIVATE AA meetings all the dreggies tell him how wonderful he is.

now for something completely different...
