got a five part VHS box of Morse from the Family Store on Saturday. Great stuff. British drama at its very best.
each episode had the usual theatrical trailers including Carry On Camping.
That was great too.
I often wonder why they dont play this stuff on the telly?
Are we so sooofisticated nowadays that a few belly larfs and a bit of sniggering is beyond the cognitive skills of the flick generation.
You know.
flick the auto tranny, remote, sell phone etc ad infinitum...
anyway it made me think of gender re-assignment and those demanding it be paid for by the state.
Well I have lived in the demi monde and around about it and have known at least three people who had their genitalia removed.
None of them are happy.
Not because they lost the tackle but because any proposed or imagined benefits were just not there.
Making a physical change is never going to alter the psyche of anyone.
Thinking that it will is just pure moonshine and  the only people that gain are the surgeons.
Until New Zealand develops the capacity to counsel those who think that removal of their genitalia is going to be the road to some sexual nirvana then the political parties and the Labour Party in particular are going to be at the mercy of strident voices calling for something that they dont really know what it is that they want.
The process is not going to be any substitute for the product.
You know in New Zealand we have banned smoking in hospitals and the nitwits in charge believe that schizophrenics and paranoids are going to QUIT smoking just because somebody tells them too.
All this crap is turning into farce and not only that but a deadly farce.
Putting the process before the patient is a just more weaselling by white bread nitwits who think their thoughts are facts.

but hey thats the New Zealand way.
The whole country is being run by people who have exceeded their competence and their ability to use clear thinking to arrive at a proper conclusion.

See in New Zealand all the armchair/bedroom know it alls wanted to get rid of doctors from the delivery room and prove their superiority over the medical profession and now we have undertrained midwifes who seem to come from the conspiracy theory/ home schooling/ contrarian section of our society telling women not to vaccinate their children against debillitating and often fatal diseases.

thats the New Zealand way doods.

no ethics.
no aesthetic.
no mercy.
its all:
marketing.
hotels.
jets.
houses with no books,pictures or anything except a telly, lazyboy and a pocket calculator to check your networth every five minutes.
it just gets crummier and crummier.
