Just right does it for me but I felt that I had to respond to Jane Bowrons excellent column in the Dompost this morning.
She nails it. The world is now solely a matter of opinion and bluenoses.
Facts are becoming more and more inconvenient every day.
Thats why I featured all those endearing charms.
any more exposure would have lead to an avalanche of whingers to google complaining about stuff they cant control and their rampant inability to view  world positively instead of through  a horrible normative warp.
Because they cant control themselves they think that nobody else can either.
Yesterday the SST had an article on stupidity. That nailed it too. But they could have included inanity.
The western world is bogged down in collecting stuff to overawe the neighbours and define reputation by amount of possessions.
The whole world has gone crazy.
Tearing the planet to pieces just to provide status symbols for the rich and the  proletariat to aspire to.
If that is not stupidity then waht is?

In the middle of an island in the middle of an ocean.
And Mauritius people have gone crazy viewing my blog.
That I do not mind.
Unless it is for reasons that are impossible to discern at the moment.

Loved your column yesterday.
The neo fascist name calling response from the arch jackanapes David Seyomour was pathetic.
He decries welfare spending but wants money for his private schools.
Its okay for him but nobody else.
He seems to be able to read your column before it is published and then he tries to negate it without putting forward any alternatives.
He knows that if his programmes have more exposure then he will cop it from the people who have been mulcted to provide jobs and real estate for the ACT party manques.
