On a big Arthur Alexander Kick at the moment.
he was great.
just got the lyrics to Where have you Been and the chords for Anna.
Where have you been was covered by The Guess Who in 1963 and then NZ's own Ray Columbus who did a pretty good version.
Its an eight bar chorus using the High School progression: I, VI, IV, V.
nifty huh?
try it you will like it.
Came up to town especially to see if Hedleys still had a copy of Decembers Children by the Rolling Stones.
Still the best cover of You Better Move on.
All their covers were ace.

and yesterday morning looked out the window and there was a big hawk picking something up off the neighbours lawn.
It could have dropped it or maybe it was cruising. I will never know.
Couldnt get the binoculars in time.
Just stood and looked at the majesty of the bird.
The colours were irredescent and glowing.
Thank you God.
