Hippy Favourites

Hello kiddies. Here is a groovy selection of piccies from the past and music from the sixties.
all heavy metal. nice day today. glad there is no war on here! very cold last night. nearly  froze. I should have slept in my bearskin. chortle chortle.
No newspaper today. The computer is on the blink.
amazing how the whole of western civilisation comes to grinding halt when the rag doesnt appear.
It is one of the main drivers of our capitalistic acquistive society.
How would we know what to buy if it wasn't advertised?
So try the old hippy favourite "the point" by Harry Nilsson.
I dont have Sky but I believe there is a nillson doco this week.
should be fun.
I have been looking at old warplane encylocpedias recently. The amount of engineering expertise and variation is truly staggering. and the amount of heavy metals that were washed away into the environment to support the manufacture and maintenance was enormous but it shows just how far  nations were prepared to go to conserve their freedoms and privileges.
Now it is not so obvious but it is still there in other forms.

just for the record:
20,000 me 109's
15,000 P51's
12,000 B24's
18,000 B17's
30'000 Spitfires
hmmmmmm
