Just downloaded the best of Okeh Blues to my laptop. Bought the double CD yesterday.

Then I can use a line in to my amp and rip it up..baybeee!

While I was waiting I eavesdropped on the Nationalisation ceremony taking place in the Kids Library.

Three new New Zealanders.

I hope they find the new life that they want for themselves and their kiddies.

and I read the Carterton Crier.

A really nifty little giveaway labour of love from Councillor Brian Poulsen.

I particularly enjoy the Articles from Ian Renall. They are memoirs really but offer a slice of life from the settlement of the county and tasty little recollections from rural life.

all gone now of course but it makes one feel good to peer back into the past and remember the good times.

Hope any reader enjoys the album covers from the 60's.
