turn to the one... (who will never turn you down)

Grteat Movie on Friday night.
Rambo is a five star job all round.
I never get tired of watching it?
Time 'they' played open season.

Had to scratch my head about the piece on The Late Show and David Letterman in the SST this sunday.
Is Adam Dudding another Kiwi who gets a free trip to New York takes the bus up and down Manahattan, comes back and says, "it was nothing much".
whey doesn't 20th Centruy Fox get someone who really likes America instead of some lukewarm kiwi know it all been everywhere done everything it wasn't much kinda guy?
Anyway to refute Adam Dudding  I saw Dave Letterman one night with Jerry Seinfeld and Dave was ad libbing and he was the funnier one by far.
One look is not the whole thing.
dood.

REally enjoyed the piece by Mark Reason on Lance Armstrongs Balls.
But Reason doesn't get the whole thing either.
It is not an exlusively American thing to market and commoditise everything in the whole wide world.
Everyone else is at it too.
ManU, Chelsea, Liverpool, The Gunners etc etc.
Here its Lorde and the Luminaries sheila.
Lorde cant sing but she has gone all the way.
How did that happen?
And as for the book well I haven't read it and I dont intend to.
(I'd rather re-read The Man Called Noon by Louis L'amour or Flint.)
I dont like being preached at by one hit wonders who use too much soap.

I like Lou Reed and Charlie Poole and the North Carolina Tarheels and Gid Tanner and the Skillet Lickers and Humphrey Bates and the Possum Skinners and the Stone Canyon Gully Jumpers.

Its such a perfect day.
went down to Greytown on the old card this a.m.
really nice.
the land looked beautiful and fecund.
corn ready to harvest.
Lovely light and there was a tourist bus of olds having morning coffee and stuff.
most pleasant.
there ya go mate.
