Both Colin and John let me fly their machines.

They were good men.
It is all along time ago now.
They would let me fly even though there was only a throw over joystick.

In the event I wasn't all that interested in machinery.
Only form.
I  could see that aeroplanes were made to fly through the air and their whole raison d'etre was speed and  elimination of drag.
I loved the art of design more than the things themselves.
I was more interested in music and trees.
