The acorns are falling in the churchyard now.
Gather them and mums get your kids to distribute them.
Go crazy.
The world can never have enough trees.
Long after the oil era is over trees will still be growing.
Here in New Zealand we need to encourage diversity and stop being so self centred and self obsessed about things that dont really matter.
just get out there and pick up any acorns you can find and plant them now!
btw.
Coastal Redwoods will grow just as fast as pinus insignis if planted in the right place.
and we need more hickory nuts and and the timber too.
Unless you get a tax break from the government nobody seems to want to do anything but it is about time the government started encouraging treeplanting without tagging the economic argument on.
