had to do some music bizz with an old pal.
came home with some lovely repros of Jimmie Rodgers, Mississippi John Hurt and Rev Gary Davis.
tomorrow I will get some frames and hang them on the wall.
every time I go back it seems smaller somehow.
the same old people going round and round.
all my age set dying and the new lot have all bought into it.
everybody looks sad?
must be the mortgage and the crap on telly about a mean world an' all the rest.
I dont condone dean wickliffes actions but I cant cant get over the heartless dismissal of wickliffe by greg newbold on the telly last night.
you would think that he of all persons would know that wickliffe was never going to spend his time in the slammer getting a phd in greasing up to bleeding heart liberals.
and the doctor with only an MA.
have the rules changed?
anyway a great contrast going down the line when you go through the tunnel and the rural turns into the urban just like that.
on the way home no hares or stuff but hawks sitting on fenceposts and I'm sure there were two penguins next to the shags on a mud island in the middle of the Hutt river.
might be wrong but so what.
nature grabs every chance it can when the deevelopers keep their hands off.
