Anyway the Band imploded and the Eagles went from strength to strength and became the best American band of the 20th century without a doubt.
Big Brother were a one disc phenomenon and Grace and the Airplane were slapdash and hit and miss and the Grateful Dead were a live band although some of their albums are pretty special but the Eagles trumped them all.
